OTTAWA _ Canada's factories rebounded strongly in November, hammering out a surprisingly strong 1.7 per cent gain that should add a floor to the expected soft economy during the end of last year.Statistics Canada reported Friday that manufacturing sales increased to $49.9 billion, the highest level since May, after falling 1.2 per cent in October.
