During the meeting of board of directors earlier this week, the company authorized the review and evaluates of proposals for its cell phone towers, aiming to create more value for the asset and at the same time to improve the efficiency of the company. As per the board, it is suggesting the company actively to take part in the forthcoming 700MHz auction sanctioned by regulator Anatel last week. The so called 4G auction for 700MHz frequencies is due to take place in August and the board said it considers TIM Brasil s participation relevant to the perspective of frequency s availability of the digital dividend for the mobile broadband development.
