Colorado Innovation Network Announces Speakers for 3rd Annual Innovation Summit


(Targeted News Service Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) DENVER, Colo., Aug. 12 -- The Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade issued the following news: The Colorado Innovation Network (COIN) today announced the final speaker lineup for the 3rd Annual COIN Summit, which will be held Aug. 26-27. The Summit helps elevate the state's innovation climate with two days of dialogue and networking focused on sharing innovative best practices and creating relationships that can propel Colorado forward.



"We are thrilled and grateful to have such brilliant minds and fantastic energy coming to Colorado," said Governor John Hickenlooper. "When we created the COIN Summit, our primary goal was to bring together innovative leaders from around the globe to build relationships and to spark ideas, and to help foster a forward-thinking business environment in this state that will endure far beyond the two day event; every one of these speakers is a dynamo." Hosted by Gov. Hickenlooper, the COIN Summit speakers include local, national and global innovation leaders who will speak to the event theme of "Redefining Connections". This year's speakers and delegates come from diverse countries including Brazil, Puerto Rico, Chile, Spain, China, Japanand Israel. Additionally, a new and unique activity sponsored by Comcast will catch the attention of anyone in Denver traveling by the McNichols Building in Civic Center Park. Six innovative people will be placed in a giant glass box for the "Xfinity Innovation Think Tank: Bringing the Future Forward, Faster" event, where they will collaboratively work on ideas about how to tell Colorado's innovation story to the world.

The 275 people making up the summit delegation are innovation leaders from around the world, representing business and industry, nonprofit, research labs, academia, government and entrepreneurs. In an effort to curate a diverse delegation, this is an invite-only event.
