Brazil : LIFE to commercially launch IPTV service on 18 August [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Active in the state of Sao Paulo, Brazilian broadband provider Life, is to commercially launch its IPTV service on 18 August. Launch of the service will be through fibre infrastructure to the home (FTTH) in the cities of Garca, Marilia and Pompeia. According to company director Luis Eduardo Martins, it aims at competing with major players operating in the region like Net Servicos, to offer direct customer care along with new options like catch-up TV.
