The Commercial Manager (South America), Media Networks, Juan Carlos González stated, "We are thrilled to make rural Internet become a reality in Colombia, thanks to Bansat trusting Media Networks' platform." González added, "iSAT-Ka has great potential to complement the traditional networks and is essential in order to universalise broadband access in the region." Bansat has started moves to commercialize the service via eight authorized distributors, and these are AT&C, Fao Networks, Internet VIP, TAG, Wireless Co, Tic Line, Batel Colombia and Anditel. The company has been planning to boost the fleet of partners in order to increase nationwide coverage.

The Operational Director, Bansat, Luis Manuel Faviana explicated, "The satellite Internet services for the countryside are pioneers in using Ka-band in Colombia; they are easy to install and don't need terrestrial infrastructures." Bansat official added, "Thanks to the strategic relationship we have with our partners we can reach areas where there is low coverage or even none." Apart from the Colombian market, Media Networks has been involved in commercializing satellite wholesales services in Brazil and Chile. The company manages the platform through a regional satellite centre in Peru in addition to two telecom centres in Chile and the US.
