Argentina,Italy : TELECOM ARGENTINA names new CEO and its sale extends to SEPTEMBER 1 [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Telecom Argentina declared that it has hired Oscar Cicchetti as its new CEO, succeeding Stefano de Angelis, who returned to Italy to lead Telecom Italia's consumer business. Before joining Telecom Argentina, Cicchetti served at Telecom Italia's director for special projects. In addition to this the operator also informed that Telecom Italia has recently extended the deadline to 1 September for the completion of its sale of Telecom Argentina to US investment fund Fintech, which is subject to the approval from Argentina's telecoms ministry SeCom. Telecom Italia had agreed to sell its entire stake in Telecom Argentina to Fintech Group for USD 960 million in November 2013.
