IDT Global, Elara Comunicaciones Partner on Rural Mexico Telecoms Project [Emirates News Agency (WAM) (United Arab Emirates)](Emirates News Agency (WAM) (United Arab Emirates) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Elara Comunicaciones has decided to implement IDT Global's VoiceLine app to bring voice and data connectivity to more than 3,000 towns in Southeast Mexico as part of a government project. The international calling app will be used on Elara Comunicaciones' satellite network to simplify phone calls and reduce costs. The VoiceLine app works using both 3G and Wi-Fi networks and offers unlimited or pay-as-you-go plans. Many schools, hospitals and some government facilities in the region will have coverage for mobile telecommunications for the first time through this service.
