U.K.-Based Mavens of London Expanding to U.S., Latin America

After five successful years, privately-owned UK business Mavens of London, a digital research, strategy, and marketing consultancy, is establishing new offices - U.S. headquarters in San Diego and Latin America headquarters in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Since 2009, Mavens has used its unique combination of technology, research, marketing, and consulting skills to help some of the world's largest brands operate effectively and efficiently in the digital age. Aggregating, analyzing, and visualizing a vast array of data sources, Mavens is a specialist in breaking down difficult business problems, and providing clear, realistic, and actionable solutions. Whether it is helping provide insight into consumers, designing a global CRM program, or driving the success of a Cannes Grand Prix marketing campaign, Mavens' consultants have a track record of best-in-class work.

<> Mavens' client list includes Citroën, Disney, Dove, Electrolux, GSK, IBM (News - Alert), Santander, Toyota, and many Unilever brands. Its language capabilities - exclusively using native speakers- are just one of the ways in which it stays ahead of the competition.

"Mavens has always worked with global brands, and all over the world," says Mavens' Founder Ben Bose. "This move is part of our commitment to providing our clients with exceptional service - wherever they are."

Mavens' expansion coincides with a global boom in Big Data. According to the IDC's (News - Alert) Worldwide Big Data Technologies and Services 2012-2016 Forecast, the sector's revenue will grow from $14.26B, in 2014, to $23.76B, in 2016; an 18.55% compound annual growth rate. Mavens' agility, experience, and agnostic approach to data sources, as well as its proprietary technology toolkit, makes it a perfect fit for large companies seeking to design, implement, and cascade best-in-class data services throughout an organization.

"Major companies have always struggled to effectively manage data," says Bose. "Now, though, we're entering a new, exciting era, where affordable and usable data management solutions can match the needs of visionary and imaginative information architecture plans. When those are put together with truly effective communications, the benefits that we have seen our clients realize are extraordinary."

Mavens' new offices will be managed by U.S. Chief Strategy Officer Amanda Valle, and Latin American Chief Strategy Officer Carol Lara. Valle and Lara bring with them impressive résumés - over 13 years' experience each in digital, research, marketing, and internet search. Building on work for clients like Cadbury, Google (News - Alert), IBM, Lenovo, PepsiCo, and Sony, the pair are looking to realize the opportunity offered by the fast-converging consumer, online search, and social data spheres.

"I've worked with Mavens for five years and they are one of my most valuable partners," says Kathleen Dunlop, Global Brand Director at Unilever. "When it comes to using digital data and actionable insights to improve our marketing, I've not seen better -- they have truly helped take our digital marketing to the next level."
