Nokia Starts Offering 5800 Device with Music Download Service in Brazil

Brazilians purchasing the new Nokia (News - Alert) 5800 mobile handset will also be able to download more than three million songs unlimitedly through the ‘Comes With Music’ music download service.


 
Nokia is a manufacturer of mobile devices and deals in converging Internet and Communications.
 
TIM, the first mobile operator to be present throughout the Brazilian continent will sell the device along with the special offer consisting of a free-of-charge, unrestricted data package for two months making Brazil the first country in the Americas to receive the Comes With Music service. The device is available for purchase at Nokia Store SP (Rua Oscar Freire, 849) and at Nokia's online store.
 
The download offer is activated as soon as a customer purchases the device. Downloads can made via PC or directly through the 5800 device.
 
According to Nokia, customers who buy a 5800 Comes With Music device will be able to explore and enjoy a diverse catalog of music of international and local artists with unlimited access to millions of tracks for a year, keeping the music on their PC and mobile once the year is over and revolutionizing their digital music experience.
 
In Brazil, the list of labels include: Tratore, Som Livre, Deckdisc, ST2, Building Records, Atracao, among others. The local music content represents a very important component inside the catalog, to both, the domestic audience, and enthusiasts of the Brazilian music throughout the world where Comes With Music is available.
 
Almir Narcizo, president of Nokia Brazil commented that Brazilian consumers are world’s top consumers of national music and for them Nokia has made sure the download service consists of both major and local independent labels. Music lovers will have easy access to this great volume of content through Nokia 5800 Comes With Music.

TIM has also started TIM Studio, a place where users can access via their Nokia 5800 Comes With Music device and upload their content and become an authentic multimedia producer and also share their content among TIM users throughout Brazil.
