Interop Technologies, premier provider of wireless solutions for messaging, device management, and connectivity gateways, has announced plans to expand its operation to Mexico.

The company plans to invest $30 million over the next three years in Latin America, of which 40 percent will be dedicated to Mexico. The company has even taken initiative to talk to some of its potential clients in Mexico to enter into trial agreements and introduce their wide variety of products and services to the region.

Damian Sazama (News - Alert), vice president of marketing at Interop, said, the Mexican market has more than 76 million mobile phone users who demand additional messaging services. Interop (News - Alert) Technologies offers future proof messaging, device management, and connectivity gateways that will help operators improve customer satisfaction levels and obtain additional revenues by offering these services efficiently and with massive scalability.

Officials at Interop said they provide flexible hosted and turnkey deployments that help reduce costs in this tough economy and enables wireless service operators to migrate from one deployment option to another without changing technologies and risking service disruption.

Eddy Cojulun, sales support representative at Interop Technologies said, “Interop can offer Mexican carriers the flexible deployment options they need to meet their current financial goals. Operators may choose to host their wireless solutions with Interop but will be provided a clear path for taking those services back ‘in-house’ as the operator’s business needs change.”

Recently, the company was in news for achieving 53,000 Message Delivery Attempts per second on its affordable SMSC 4 Series solution, a new global speed record for SMS Centers.

According to Informa Telecoms & Media, nearly 279 billion text messages were sent in Q3 2008 in the United States and Canada, an average of more than 3 billion per day for the 90-day period. Based on straight-line processing, a single Interop SMSC 4 Series solution can handle more than 4.5 billion messages per day—in excess of the total daily North American SMS traffic—in a very small amount of rack space.
