DIRECTV Latin America, a provider of satellite TV services throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, has selected Callidus’ on-demand solution to drive sales performance.

The Callidus SPM suite, the Monaco release, is expected to increase sales performance and optimize the management of DIRECTV Latin America’s network of independent dealers in eight countries.

"We are excited to deliver our industry-leading channel and sales performance management SaaS (News - Alert) solutions to one of the top satellite TV providers throughout Latin America and the Caribbean," said Jimmy Duan, senior vice president, Asia Pacific and Latin America of Callidus Software (News - Alert), in a statement.

Duan said that this new win helps illustrate the increasing appetite for SaaS SPM solutions across geographies. The Monaco on demand suite is gaining steam in high-growth regions because of its unbeatable combination of rapid scalability and accessibility.

“With Monaco, our customers can rapidly deploy and manage the incentives and rewards of dealer channels across the world with a standard, world-class platform that scales with their growth," he said.

Company officials claimed that Callidus Software's Monaco release delivers a 100 percent multi-tenant, SaaS solution that helps companies harness the power of incentives to successfully execute on top-line corporate goals throughout the sales and channel network.

Callidus Software is a major player in sales performance management (SPM).

TMCnet in August reported that Lenovo (News - Alert), a personal computer manufacturer, has successfully implemented Callidus Software’s Quota Management solution to help manage sales goals and coverage for 1,900 members of its sales force worldwide.

The solution was implemented in the second quarter of 2010 and offers organizations a solution that ensures sales quotas are allocated quickly and effectively based on market potential and corporate revenue goals.

In addition, company officials said the solution helps allocate, distribute, and approve quotas quickly using configurable quota allocation methods, with built-in adjustment and threshold tools.

By effectively automating the workflow processes around quota distribution and adjustments, the solution accelerates new product and fiscal period rollouts, and ensures that mid-period quota changes are rapidly deployed to the points of sales execution, officials said.
