Bolivian telecommunications service provider Nuevatel, a key member of the Trilogy group, has selected Comverse (News - Alert) ONE Billing & Active Customer Management for converged rating and charging to enhance its Viva market offering, while achieving significant OPEX (News - Alert) reduction.Officials with Comverse said that this selection by Nuevatel is part of a global framework agreement that will see Comverse ONE advantages extended to other service providers in the Trilogy group."Billing has advanced far beyond its traditional role; its innovative capabilities now make it a vital springboard for revenue growth and service innovation,” said Wilson Saavedra, Vice President, IT at Nuevatel, in a statement.
