KEDAR Information Technologies is saving IT costs for Brink’s Corporation offices located in 10 Latin American countries.

The company delivered its IT cost-saving software to Brink that is using them for its Latin American regional office since March 2010.

Brink’s is a $3.2B company and its Latin America operations account for $1.3B (41 percent) of the total revenue.

“The KEDARit group did a great job of helping us,” said Steve Kepple, vice president Information Technology Brink’s Latin America, “now we are deploying into 10 countries and it’s going very well.”

KEDAR Information Technologies is a Lewisville, TX - based management consulting company that specializes in lean management business technology solutions.

Amongst other solutions it also delivered its Cost Optimization Service (COp-S) software to Brink and this solution allows users to  rapidly optimize IT costs, establish a service-based costing method that demonstrates the financial value of IT to an organization, and provides business intelligence for robust and improved IT forecasting.

KEDAR Information Technologies claims that it can help customers to immediately perform cost optimization and reduce activities and this will result in a three percent to eight percent reduction in IT spending in the first year itself.

Development of the COp-S software was facilitated by Caleb Williams, chief technology officer and son of Charles Williams, KEDARit founder and CEO.

“It’s the service you provide, not the server,” said Williams.
