emporia Telecom has revealed that the company has recently made its global footprint larger through gaining traction in North and Latin America in 2012.
With the launch of its new emporiaCLICK, which is a simple and stylish flip phone, the company will allow users located in these regions to take pictures on-the-go. Allowing for photos to be sent to friends and family by users, as well as the ability to utilize a clear and easy-to-navigate menu, it becomes effortless to find favorite photos, the company stated in a press release.
Gregory Foley, president and CEO of emporia Telecom, USA and a veteran of the U.S. mobile industry explained the vision behind the company's expansion in a statement saying,"We're excited to bring our easy-to-use mobile devices to multiple generations of families in the U.S., Canada and Latin America. We believe there are millions of consumers who simply don't want complicated smartphones, distracting apps or expensive data plans, so we focus on high-quality products that offer simplified communication for those who need it most.”
Offering the most essential features to stay connected with loved ones, especially when they are needed most, emporia creates research-driven, well-designed mobile phones. Each product features a unique, one-touch Call for Care button that automatically dials family, caregivers or emergency services in an emergency. Apart from a simple interface to help customers quickly locate what they need when they need it, every emporia phone features large, easy-to-use buttons and an extra loud speakerphone.
Recently, the company celebrated 20 years of business and appointed a new Advisory Board including John Clarkson from Cambridge University, Robert Bauer from the University of Linz, and Boris Nemsic (News - Alert), former CEO of Telekom Austria, in order to further drive awareness for specially developed and manufactured easy to use mobile phones for older users.
