In a bid to cater to increasing computer-incentive business models of companies and help them take advantage of all emerging technologies, Level 3 Communications (News - Alert) has opened its new data center service in Latin America.

Level 3 Dynamic Enterprise Computing is a managed hosting solution that offers customers the flexibility to define their computing needs and pay according to resource usage, while guaranteeing resource availability.

"Level 3's new Dynamic Enterprise Computing service is a fundamentally ground-breaking new way to look at the provisioning of data center services," said Leonardo Barbero, Level 3's senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Latin America. “Level 3 Dynamic Enterprise Computing offers our customers a secure enterprise computing environment on a highly available platform, incorporating the flexibility and assurance of resources that enterprises have been seeking when choosing an infrastructure-as-a-service solution.”

Availability with a dynamic pricing model, Level 3 Dynamic Enterprise Computing offers virtual computing, storage and security elements with a revolutionary framework for customers.

The new service also allows customers to scale, or burst, on computing resource consumption whenever a business needs.

"Latin America's fast growing economies and businesses are demanding scalable, good quality and inexpensive telecommunications services," stated Elia San Miguel, principal research analyst at Gartner (News - Alert). "The region continues to look promising as a hyper-growth market because colocation, hosting and managed services have a high uptake, primarily from multinationals looking to expand their market presence."

Providing scalable data solutions to consumers, Level 3, a dedicated and multitenant data center provider, works more than 350 data center facilities in North America, Europe and Latin America.
