Breaking Down Barriers through Integrated Payment Solutions
By Tabitha Naylor

Global expansion is the term given to businesses that successfully spread their wings to countries outside their current geographic locations. Long ago, this was only applicable to those businesses that actually had business presence in other countries.

Today, however, that’s no longer the case. Today, a physical presence is just as important as an online presence.

The management team at Fnbox, a Latin American company focused on building global and scalable internet businesses, knows that sometimes in business, timing is everything. And that to promote and facilitate the global expansion of the company’s top Internet properties including Cuponica.com, Recarga.com and Tarjetastelefonicas.com into Brazil, United States and Europe, it needed to select a more innovative, pioneering payment provider.

After careful consideration, Adyen was selected as the provider of choice.

Adyen is known for its global expertise and verified payment technology policy, as well as risk mitigation and fraud detection. Established in 2006 by specialists with over 15 years of industry experience, Ayden maximizes online conversion via easy payments for customers worldwide.

Its outstanding relationships with 35 global banks, along with the understanding and support of preferred payment methods in each market, was determined to be the missing ingredient to complete the recipe for Fnbox’s global expansion initiative.

Fnbox is confident in the decision of selecting Adyen’s payment platform, and will be terminating the existing agreement with its current Argentinian payment facilitator. The process is expected to be a seamless. In fact, visitors to the site will likely not notice a difference.

Rodrigo Teijeiro, founder and CEO at Fnbox, feels the company has made a wise choice by choosing Adyen, and is hopeful that the decision will attract new customers among the larger Spanish and Portuguese-speaking populations throughout the United States and Europe. This would accelerate the expansion process and prove to be extremely cost effective, which would allow for re-investment back into the company for future growth and expansion projects.
