Based in Madrid, Spain, with North American offices in Atlanta, Almira Labs (News - Alert) is touted as a telecom software company whose goal is to power an array of solutions for wireline and wireless telecom operators. The company’s innovative and highly robust portfolio was developed specifically to be utilized within Next-Generation Intelligent Networks (NGIN).
Just today, it was revealed that the company’s Chief Marketing Officer Miguel Monforte will speak at ITEXPO (News - Alert) Austin 2012, as well as the collocated LatinComm Conference and Expo. Taking place from October 2-5 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, TX, Monforte’s will be spearheading the highly informative session titled , “The SIRI Effect,” on Thursday, October 4th at 9:00 a.m. at ITEXPO and the discussion, “Mobile Applications Opportunities in Latin America,” at 11:00 a.m. on the same day at the LatinComm Conference.
“I am looking forward to demonstrating the revenue-generating opportunities that can be leveraged through voice-driven services and features”, said Monforte in a statement. “Many operators are naturally drawn to the powerful functionalities of today’s smart phones, and tend to overlook the tremendous revenue potential that legacy phone users represent. While these subscribers may not have the latest devices, they certainly want the services and functionalities associated with smartphones. The sessions in Austin will help educate operators how they can tap into this emerging market by integrating cloud-based, voice-driven services into their operations.”
ITEXPO Austin 2012 is touted as being the world’s largest communications and technology event that brings together everyone from enterprises, government and SMB end-users, resellers, service providers, manufacturers, developers, media and analysts in order to get an up close and personal look into new robust solutions and see how innovative products actually work, as well as drive networking and collaborative projects that could potentially change the direction of both industries.
Realizing the sheer importance of this upcoming event, Monforte will highlight how service providers should leverage cloud-based, voice-driven value added services and features to drive revenue as well as to ramp up subscriber satisfaction within any company’s customer base when he has his time to shine in the spotlight.
A few months ago, TMC’s (News - Alert) Executive Editor Paula Bernier wrote, “For all the growth and excitement around smartphones, there are still far more feature phones out there today. To help service providers address all such endpoints, Almira Labs is introducing a collection of cloud-based services that don’t require downloads and are accessible by calling a number.”
