Knowledge is power and today’s advanced collaboration technology is supporting individuals’ and companies’ hankering for knowledge sharing, with great efficiency. A key player in the global collaboration services space, Arkadin (News - Alert) belives that progress emerges from people's desire to share. With this vision, it was natural for the company to earmark Mexico to be its next business destination, as the country, according to analysts, is braced for a tremendous growth in the audio and video conferencing sector.  In an effort to tap the business opportunities in Mexico’s booming conferencing service market, Arkadin opened its operations in Mexico City.

Arkadin’s offering includes an array of remote audio, Web, video conferencing and Unified Communications solutions. Mostly delivered as a SaaS (News - Alert) solution, the services are known for fast, scalable deployments and a high ROI. With the opening of a new center, the business customers will gain direct access to Arkadin’s award winning suits of conferencing solutions, which include Arkadin Anytime, Arkadin Express, Arkadin Anywhere, Arkadin Express and Cisco (News - Alert) WebEx provided by Arkadin . A direct access to the company’s support team will also add to the customers’ convenience.

It should be mentioned that Arkadin is the first major service provider to establish local operations in Mexico. Given that Mexico’s conferencing market is poised to witness an impressive 45 percent growth between 2011 and 2013, it appears to be the most discreet business strategy on the part of Arkadin.

In its 2012 Latin America Audio & Web Conferencing Service Market & Forecast, Wainhouse (News - Alert) Research cited two factors driving this exponential growth of conferencing services in the country:

On the one hand, the Mexican economy---presently the 14th largest economy in the world---is characterized by the presence of a number of fast-growing SMBs, for which it is important to collaborate more to compete in today’s increasingly mobile global business environment.

Secondly, limited airline options and sporadic violence are reducing the numbers of business travels, necessitating the executives to communicate through audio/video/ web conferencing.

“We're extremely excited about the opportunity to service businesses in Mexico. Mexico is the world's 14th largest economy with many fast growing SMBs and a huge concentration of multi-nationals who need to collaborate locally and globally with partners, customers and remote employees. Our complete range of audio and web collaboration offerings equips these businesses to succeed in a 24/7 business environment where sharing and collective intelligence are key drivers for success,” Arkadin's Managing Director of Latin America Thomas Valantin noted in a statement.

In other news Arkadin announced that it is has strong demand for its audio and web collaboration offerings in Poland. The rapid expansion is being fueled by a challenging economic environment that requires businesses to seek greater communications efficiencies. With conferencing and collaboration technologies, business travel can be substantially reduced, resulting in cost savings and reduced carbon outlays.
