NQ Mobile (News - Alert), a mobile Internet services provider, just announced that America Movil, the biggest telecom group in Latin America, will soon offer a number of NQ Mobile's products to its 262-million-customer base spread across 18 countries that include Mexico and much of Latin America. Among the products offered will be NQ Mobile Security, NQ Mobile Vault and NQ Mobile Famil Guardian.
First and foremost, NQ Mobile will be offering its mobile security deal in Mexico through Telcel (News - Alert), marketed as "Seguridad Movil Telcel." The largest carrier in the America Movil group, Telcel has 68 million subscribers and is Mexico's top mobile operator. The new product will be marketed through Telcel's own SMS system as well as through online promotions and an outbound call center. Aside from these marketing and distribution methods, Telcel will also be selling mobile devices that have the security software pre-loaded. In the future, America Movil will introduce NQ Mobile's products through every carrier in every country it operates in.
