The Uruguay Telephone and Electric Company of Montevideo has reportedly awarded a unified communications contract to VoiceInterop (News - Alert), a wholly owned subsidiary of Cleartronic, a U.S.-based provider of unified communications solutions. VoiceInterop has assigned the installation, maintenance and support work to its counter part, Teledata, in Uruguay.

The first phase of the project will integrate 15 remote Land Mobile Radio sites with 10 Network Operating Centers using Voice Intrerop’s AudioMate360 hardware and AudioMate software Dispatch Consoles enabling communication between operations staff and power grid line crews.

Subsequent phases of the project will integrate an additional 300 LMR sites with NOCs throughout the country.

Officials at VoiceInterop say their AudioMate software provides highly secure and reliable voice and network traffic encryption.  It supports the plug-in encryption requirements of all high-security environments and its PIN-based user authentication is built-in as well as Active Directory support.

Also, AudioMate meets US Department of Homeland Security requirements for interoperability and is used worldwide and its Fault-tolerant Management and Media servers can be placed in multiple locations and linked together.

Larry Reid, president and CEO of VoiceInterop, said: “Working with our partner, Teledata Uruguay, our unified communication solution will revitalize Uruguay Telephone and Electric Company’s existing infrastructure using VoiceInterop hardware and software. This is another example of how our value added resellers are able to win new business using VoiceInterop’s UC solutions.”

Officials at VoiceInterop say that, their team leverages it’s technology partner relationships to design an all inclusive, customized, end-to-end unified communication solutions by using IP software at the core of each design.

Clients can link both traditional and non-traditional devices via IP networks in a variety of ways.  Once AudioMate software is implemented, clients can link devices one-to-one, one-to-many, many-to-one or many-to-many.  Clients can also link devices into fixed or ad-hoc sessions according to their needs.

VoiceInterop, Inc., is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cleartronic, Inc with headquarters in Boca Raton, Fla.
