Intermedia Expands Partner Program in Latin America
TMCnet Contributor
Intermedia has expanded its partner program in Latin America. With the expansion, technology providers in Latin America can offer customers Intermedia’s business productivity suite of Microsoft products, including Exchange 2007, Outlook 2007, Office Communications Server 2007 and SharePoint 3.0.
Company officials said that providers would now be able to offer the service under their own brand, managing it with a private label version of Intermedia’s end user control panel – now available in Spanish and English. Intermedia also offers Outlook 2007 in Spanish, Brazilian, Portuguese and 14 other languages.
The Latin American expansion comes on the heels of Intermedia’s success with a select group of partners in the region.
“With so much opportunity for Exchange hosting in Latin America, our work with select partners has been a spectacular success,” said Bob Leibholz, vice president of sales and business development at Intermedia, in a statement. “They asked us to develop our end user control panel in Spanish, and we delivered. We’re committed to helping our partners differentiate and grow their business.”
Aimed at the needs of small and medium-sized businesses, Business Productivity Suite is available exclusively from Intermedia. Partners can offer the suite or its individual components, enabling them to tap into strong global demand for Exchange and other collaboration products.
Founded in 1995, Intermedia is a provider of business e-mail, including Microsoft (News - Alert) Exchange hosting to the small and medium business market.
Intermedia specializes in providing enterprise-grade solutions through its world class infrastructure and service to small and medium businesses at a price they can afford. In April, Intermedia announced the addition of its fourth data center for its Exchange Hosting business.
This new data center helps Intermedia meet the unprecedented demand to provide small-and medium-sized businesses with a hosted email solution that offers enterprise-grade performance and reliability.
The additional data center capacity will also provide customers with the highest quality hosted messaging services and provide the infrastructure they need to work efficiently.
