Canadian hardware and software supplier TelcoBridges Inc. has reportedly partnered with leading South American telecom vendor, Khomp to deliver high-capacity telecom solutions in Brazil.

 

Based in Brazil, Khomp develops, manufactures and markets products in the telecommunications segment. It is one of the top providers of hardware enabling computer telephony integration and Asterisk (News - Alert) applications. It said it meets customers’ needs by continually enhancing its product portfolio with best-of-breed technology.

 

Khomp expects to expand its technology base in Brazil with the new OEM agreement with TeleBridges. Company will utilise TelcoBridges’ (News - Alert) award winning Tmedia telecom development platforms and media gateways into its solutions to bring a higher level of performance, capacity, and density to its offerings. TelcoBridges’ technology also adds carrier-grade scalability, reliability, and SS7 signalling to Khomp’s product portfolio.    

 

TelcoBridges Tmedia offering is a high-density, ready-to-deploy media gateway platform that is specially designed and manufactured for systems integrators and service providers. It is ideal for applications such as SIP trunking, Fax over IP, PSTN migration to VoIP, hosted IP PBX (News - Alert) and more.

 

According to TelcoBridges, its products address a wide variety of industry requirements and feature a highly flexible and scalable architecture, with a single software API (application programming interface), and full SS7 support.
